Part of keeping a home nice and comfortable is getting rid of the trash.
Trash is something that is considered as waste or not needed.
Some things that are usually thrown away as trash can be useful for other circumstances such as the use of biodegradable materials such as fruit skin can be used to make compost for the garden.
Sometimes the terms garbage and trash are used interchangeably. Other people use garbage to mean the kinds of waste that could be composted, or will get smelly and decompose if it's left lying around, while trash sometimes indicates the things like paper waste, which while it many be recyclable, can be left in a trash can for months without causing a health hazard.
