Are you worried about wild dragons? Dragon's wort, better known as tarragon, is an herb used in cooking, and in some places, to flavor drinks. Traditionally, it was thought to ward off dragons.
It's often used for chicken, veal or eggs. It has a taste similar to anise and is also used in salad dressings or quiche. Tarragon is also used in Bérnaise Sauce. Unlike some other herbs, tarragon's flavor is stronger when it's fresh than dried. French tarragon, the most common breed, is hard to grow by seed and is often cultivated via root division.
Tarragon is also popular with some gardens because in addition to providing a good cooking herb, it is believed to discourage some garden pests and possibly to enhance the flavor of other things growing in the garden.
