Closet

A closet isn't a prototypical room. After all, people don't usually spend much time in a closet, even a walk-in closet. In fact, closets are not part of typical homes in many places and historical timeframes.

Closets usually provide room for storage. Depending on what is being stored, there may be a rod for hanging clothes, hooks and shelves.
